Nana Ngozi Mbengue founded The Independent Think Tank due to the imperative need for people of Afrikan Heritage to learn about their own powerful and brilliant culture.

The Independent Think Tank is a organization which promotes Afrikan "Centered" Education, cultural awarness , valuable resourceses, higher knowledge and Black Consciousness.

Our Mission is to provides unique resources , Afrikan "Centered" Education , cultural presentations and consultation to various community based organizations, home School families, youth, elders, parents and grandparents of misplaced Watoto(children) whose seek to utilize alternative and meaninful methods of education.

The Independent Think Tank is dedicated to the people of Afrikan decent by using Afrikan "Centered" Education as a tool for cultural development.

Our objective is to redefine present thought patterns which perpetuate destructive behaviors of the self by offerring creative programs to inform,educate, transform and regain the "African Mind".

We offer cultural slide presentations,creative studies, Innovative tools for economic empowerment, parenting techniques and life skills curriculums from Prek-to Adult.

THE INDEPENDENT THINK TANK IS DEVELOPED TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF AFRICAK PEOPLE AND TO REDEFINE THE BOUNDARIES OF THE AFRIKAN MIND THROUGH MAAT PRINCIPLES AND CORRECT AND TRUE KNOWLDEGE OF OUR RICH HERITAG.

WE ARE CULTURAL EDUCATORS WHO ARE ON A QUEST OF NATIONBUILDING FOR THE PRESERVATION OF OUR AFRIKAN CULTURE.

OUR GOAL IS TO DEFINE, IDENTIFY AND REVEAL THE CULTURAL VANDELISM OF THE AFRICAN RACE , AND RESTORE, REVITALIZE AND RETURN THE AFRIKAN MAN,WOMAN & CHILD TO HIS/HER RIGHTFUL STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH THAT HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN BY OUR ANCESTORS.
